Unwavering Integrity

A wallet is lying on the sidewalk. An individual finds it, tracks down the owner’s address, and returns the wallet, much to the owner’s surprise and gratitude. When asked why they returned it, the response is simple: “It’s the right thing to do.” This simple honesty restored the owner’s faith in humanity and reaffirmed the importance of integrity, even when no one is watching.

At MDC, our moral compass is set on the north star called integrity. We believe in doing the right things for the right reasons. Integrity is not just about visible actions; it’s about the unseen choices we make every day, even when no one is watching. It’s about acknowledging our inherent dignity and honoring our self-worth through our decisions.

Failure to prioritize integrity can lead to mistrust among team members and our community, resulting in decreased morale, disengagement, and fractured relationships. Additionally, neglecting integrity may cause reputational damage and missed growth opportunities.

Therefore, we must prioritize integrity to maintain trust, foster authenticity, and uphold our values. As C.S. Lewis said, “Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.”

MDC employees work to let integrity guide our actions and be the driving force behind our collective excellence, ultimately resulting in greater outcomes for ourselves and for our clients.
