Our Achievements
- Core Strengths: We delivered exceptional financial management services, audit support, and internal controls for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), sustaining a long-term impact on our clients.
- Cybersecurity Leadership: We expanded our work with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), strengthening their cybersecurity through continuous diagnostics and mitigation (CDM) services and advanced tools like Splunk and CrowdStrike.
We achieved the status of being a Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services (HACS) provider with the General Services Administration (GSA), enabling MDC to provide innovative and wide-ranging solutions that address complex cyber challenges facing our existing and future clients.
- Learning and Growth: MDC Business University (MDC-BU) reached new heights. We secured IACET accreditation, won an Air Force training contract, and trained internal team members and external learners with satisfaction rates exceeding 90%.
- DCAA Compliance: This year, MDC Global Solutions achieved Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) compliance. This is a significant achievement in our commitment to excellence and operational integrity. DCAA compliance means we maintain the highest standards in financial management, accounting practices, and internal controls, ensuring complete alignment with the rigorous requirements of the DCAA. With this status, our ability to secure and effectively manage federal contracts has increased significantly. This compliance underscores our unwavering focus on accountability, transparency, and the meticulous execution of every project we undertake.
- Social Responsibility: MDC employees continued to participate in a leadership mentor program with HeartSmiles, a non-profit organization supporting inner-city youth in Baltimore. Our family shared personal leadership and the importance of having a growth mindset. I was encouraged by the reception of the leadership and youth leaders in HeartSmiles, and I am continually inspired by the humility and commitment of our family members to sacrifice time to serve. As we move into 2025, I am deeply responsible for ensuring MDC reflects these values in every decision and action. In the coming year, we plan to strengthen our strategic partnership, continue to win prime contracts in all our capabilities, and listen deeply to our colleagues and clients to deliver the excellence they desire and deserve. Bottom line, I am confident that we will achieve even greater success.
